Bricks and Beams in the Morning

This morning I woke up and, for the first time since August 2, 2005,
I did not say to myself,
'This is not home.'
I looked up at the bricks and beams, and smiled.
Total relaxation, no split-second of panic.
Maybe I am turning a corner.
